Spectrum provides one of the excellent email service. Further, users of Spectrum Email may find a couple of different issues which hamper normal functionality of the email service. Moreover, some issues can be easily diagnosed, while others may require deep investigation.
If you are facing any of the below email problems, then ensure you are connected to the internet using the correct email settings:
- Missing Contacts
- Missing Emails
- Saved Emails Missing
- Sent Emails Missing
Note: If Spectrum email accounts are inactive for 6 months then they are locked. In order to get new email messages, it’s necessary to unlock your account through Spectrum.net. Learn more about it here.
Emails Missing When checking from more than one devices
If you are using multiple devices to access your Spectrum email, ensure the IMAP settings are proper.
Note: You should note that using both POP and IMAP concurrently or using POP across more than one devices can cause error messages on trying to receive, send or access new emails. For more information about switching from POP to IMAP click here.
Changes you make in one location aren’t saved in other locations
In case you note that the changes you’ve saved on your smartphone or tablet are not being saved in webmail or vice versa, ensure that you are using the correct email settings.
In case you find that one of your contacts or you have received a bounceback message while sending an email then ensure that the email address is not marked as spam.
Problems in sending or receiving emails
If you are finding problems in sending and/or receiving emails, then ensure to set the correct email settings for both outgoing and incoming servers.
