On a recent event, Comcast has announced to deliver a new Internet service at up to 1Gbps (Gigabit-per-second) speed to the business customers and residential of The Villages. The Internet speed is assumed to be fastest and most widely accessible in the area.
Using DOCSIS 3.1 technology, Comcast’s new plan of 1GB Internet service will facilitate Xfinity, as well as, Comcast Business Internet customers to obtain Gigabit speed over the communication lines which is already used by the most customers at their homes and offices.
Javier Garcia, Comcast’s senior vice president of sales and marketing in Florida region, said, “We’re delivering gigabit speed over a network that already passes thousands of homes and businesses across the Central Florida,”. According to him, “As consumers and small businesses continue to rely even more heavily on the internet, we have the advanced technology in place to meet this growing demand.”
Along with residential customers, this technology will be beneficial for small businesses and startups that require faster download speed at the low price and better network facilities. Also, Business Internet speed tiers and Business Internet 1 Gig is available to plenty of business clients in the Central Florida.
Without a term contract, Comcast’s 1 GB Internet service for residential customers is $139.95 per month. In addition, Bundled product pricing is also accessible for the Xfinity users. In 2017, Comcast introduced this 1 GB Internet service that uses DOCSIS 3.1 technology in Miami and Jacksonville.
