I am not getting email notifications, what shall I do? 

If you have issues receiving email notifications, then by following the below procedure, you can easily troubleshoot them:

First, you need to verify that your email address is correctly mentioned in the My Profile webpage in My Verizon. If it’s not correct or you need to change, follow the below steps:

  • Go to My Profile page and then click on “Change Email Address” option.
  • Now, enter the new email address.
  • Click on “Update.”
  • New email address will be successfully updated.

After ensuring the correct email address, verify that the email notifications have been correctly set up or not. Moreover, you can view and edit “alerts” by following the below-given steps:

  • Visit Email and Text Alert Preferences webpage in “My Verizon.”
  • Check out existing alerts, and to make any changes click on “Edit Preferences.” Further, follow on-screen instructions to update the information.
  • Next, you need to add “VerizonWireless.com” domain to the list of your safe email in spam filtering software, so that the email service accepts the alerts in your inbox. This software is used by email or installed on your PC or provided by your internet service provider.
  • Test your email to make sure that you are getting emails from My Verizon. Follow the below steps to test it:
  • Visit Email and Text Alert Preferences webpage in “My Verizon.”
  • Now, from the bottom of the page click on “Test Email Addresses.”
  • A test email should arrive in your inbox within a few seconds. In case you don’t get one, check the spam folder and find out if it is there.

Verizon set-top box is responding to remote control slowly

This may happen if your set-top box (STB) stops communicating. Try rebooting your STB to troubleshoot this issue. Follow the below steps for the same:

  • Now, wait for 30 seconds.
