Step 1 :
Click ‘File’ option and then select ‘Account Settings’. In the drop-down menu, again select ‘Account Settings’. In the email tab, click ‘New’ to start the new account setup.
Step 2 :
Select the ‘Manual setup or additional server types’ checkbox and click ‘Next.’ The manual setup is required because you need to input your Roadrunner Web mail information yourself instead of relying on Outlook.
Step 3 :
Select ‘POP or IMAP’ and click ‘Next.’ IMAP is used to retrieve mail from Time Warner’s servers. When emails are retrieved using IMAP, copies of the messages are left on the server for multiple device access.
Step 4 :
In the name field, enter your full name and in the email address field, your complete Roadrunner email address. The name you enter should be the name that you want people to see when they receive a mail from you.
Step 5 :
Select ‘IMAP’ as your account type and set ‘mail.twc.com’ as both incoming mail server and outgoing mail server.
Step 6 :
Enter your Roadrunner email address and password in the respective sections. Check the ‘Remember Password’ checkbox if you want outlook to remember your account.
Step 7 :
Click ‘test account settings’ to check whether the account is set properly or not. Outlook verifies your account access by sending a test message and once the test is verified, click ‘Next’ and then ‘Finish’ to setup your Outlook e-mail account.
