When you pay for a cable service, you expect a uninterrupted and hassle-free experience. If you are a Time Warner customer, you might have faced an issues which is quite common – Audio out of Sync. With this general issue come picture freezes issue and no sound issue.

If you ever come across this issue, follow these steps to rectify it:
Turn OFF your Time Warner cable box and unplug it from the main electric board. Wait for 10 minutes and plug it again. This power recycle is important to give a soft reset. Press the power ON button to start your device.
Follow the first step with your TV and power cycle it again. Turn it ON with your remote. Make sure to put the TV’s ‘Secondary Audio Programming’ (SAP) is set as Stereo.
Press the ‘Menu’ key on your cable TV remote. Go to the ‘Other HDMI Settings’ input page. On this page, select ‘L-PCM’ from the list and press OK. Go to the channel on which you were having audio-video syncing issue and check.
